Attorney Will La Salle attended Resolute System’s Arbitration Training course on July 22, 2021. This course was generously funded by IAT Insurance in cooperation with the Military Spouse JD Network (MSJDN) for virtual attendance by spouses of active duty servicemembers. Taught by Deborah Masucci, this course focuses on potential future arbitrators/neutrals.
Although parties to an arbitration are subject to a final binding rule similar to that of a trial ruling, arbitration may achieve finality without many of the costs and delays associated with litigation. Many parties to a dispute, including those with issues related to patents, trademarks, and copyrights, either contract in advance or otherwise choose to mediate or litigate.
