Ashleigh Burgess

Ashleigh Burgess is a current second-year law student at the Univeristy of South Carolina. She previously graduated magma cum laude from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in General Chemistry. She developed an interest in intellectual property law after taking courses on Patent law and Copyright and Trademark law, and she plans to sit for the patent bar in the near future. Ashleigh is thrilled to work alongside the Thrive IP® team and learn more about intellectual property law during her clerkship.
