Thrive IP® patent attorney Dr. Jeremy M. Stipkala has completed the 40-Hour Civil Court Mediation Certification Training sponsored by the South Carolina Bar on August 14, 2024. This credential augments Dr. Stipkala’s previous service as a mediator and his experience as an advocate in many mediations. “Since the Baker Peace Scholarship required me to study conflict and its resolution in college, I have been fascinated by the human response to conflict,” Dr. Stipkala shared. “I have often thought of attorneys as ‘conflict resolution engineers.’” Dr. Stipkala will offer mediation services near and far, both in person and virtually via Zoom, and eventually from Thrive IP®’s Charleston office when a second conference room can be established there.
